Owner Operator

Diamond Delivery is a leader in providing transportation solutions within the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, Okanagan Region and Northern BC. We and our sister company (First Canadian Messenger) are accepting applications for the following positions:

- Messenger Owner Operators handling expedited small packages and envelopes in Metro Vancouver;
- Owner Operators for 1-ton, 3-ton and/or 5-ton vans for local P&D at all regional terminals;
- Owner Operators for 1-ton, 3-ton and/or 5-ton flatdecks for local P&D at all regional terminals;
- Owner Operators for daycab tractors for local P&D at all regional terminals;

Job Summary: The successful applicants will be expected to carry out work as directed, will also be required to perform the standard responsibilities with driving commercial vehicles including excellent customer service, general paperwork, picking up and delivering freight around the lower mainland.
Prerequisites: Two years’ experience. Clean abstract and claims history, must have an iPhone 6 or newer & possess your own commercial delivery vehicle.

Customer Service

Diamond Delivery in Surrey, BC is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team! Our rapidly growing business is looking for hardworking, motivated, friendly individuals who have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
An example of duties include; answering a high volume of inbound calls, order entry, customer service resolutions, driver paperwork maintenance, customer rate quotes.

Desired qualifications:
· Previous inbound call-centre experience
· Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
· Ability to multi-task and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Capable of maintaining a calm & collected demeanor when under pressure
· Motivated to find solutions to challenges that occur, with a focus on follow-through
· Exceptional communication skills
· Strong computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 35 WPM

Industry knowledge would be an asset, although training will be provided. We offer a competitive wage based upon experience with benefits after 3 months to full time employees.

Sales Development

*** Sales Development Representative ***

Our industry experience, fleet capabilities, professional drivers, and modern tracking system ensure quality service to our clients throughout the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Okanagan, and Northern BC.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for managing an assigned group of existing and new customers. The SDR will introduce, promote, and sell DDSI platforms, services, and programs to current and future customers through prospecting, cold calling, and account maintenance activities. The SDR will generate demand and manage accounts/prospects primarily via phone call meetings, TEAMS meetings and outbound emails.

Duties would include but are not limited to the following:
Develop added revenue streams: You’ll use several tools at your disposal to identify and reach out to potential prospects and existing customers in various industries. You'll help answer questions about our service portfolio, investigate order related issues and update our client database. You will help build a strong sales pipeline and participate from start to finish in the sales cycle.
Nurture client relationships: Diamond Delivery is looking to expand our reach within several sectors across British Columbia. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the existing and well-developed relationships with our current customers, as well as engaged in fostering new areas for growth and increasing brand awareness. By delivering a first-class customer experience, you will play a pivotal role in promptly addressing the needs of future and existing customers, thereby upholding a consistently high level of customer retention.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with internal resources and external stakeholders to leverage best-in-class outcomes for the customer. Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations and Customer; work cross-functionally to analyze pricing, market penetration and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Maintain an accurate pipeline within the CRM tool.
