Owner Operator

*** Owner Operator Driver ***

Diamond Delivery is a leader in providing transportation solutions within the lower mainland, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan and Northern BC. We and our sister company (First Canadian Messenger) are accepting applications for (October 2020):

- Messenger Owner Operators for expedited small packages and envelopes in Metro Vancouver;
- Actively looking for Owner Operators for One, Three, and Five Ton Trucks for LTL Freight and Day Cab Tractors for local P&D in Metro Vancouver;
- Fast Carded Tractor Owner Operators,
- Daycab Tractor, one, three and five tons in Victoria; Tractor and One ton also for mid Island (If you are thinking of moving to the Island this could be a great opportunity).

We are also looking for one company tractor driver to work out of our Surrey Terminal.

Job Summary: The successful applicants will be expected to carry out work as directed, will also be required to perform the standard responsibilities with driving small commercial vehicles including excellent customer service, general paperwork, picking up and delivering freight around the lower mainland.
Driver must qualify: two years’ experience. Clean abstract and claims history, have an iPhone 6 or newer. Owner Operators must own your own commercial delivery vehicle.

Customer Service

*** Customer Service Representative ***

Diamond Delivery in Surrey, BC is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team! Our rapidly growing business is looking for hardworking, motivated, friendly individuals who have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
An example of duties include; answering a high volume of inbound calls, order entry, customer service resolutions, driver paperwork maintenance, customer rate quotes.

Desired qualifications:
· Previous inbound call-centre experience
· Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
· Ability to multi-task and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Capable of maintaining a calm & collected demeanor when under pressure
· Motivated to find solutions to challenges that occur, with a focus on follow-through
· Exceptional communication skills
· Strong computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 35 WPM

Industry knowledge would be an asset, although training will be provided. We offer a competitive wage based upon experience with benefits after 3 months to full time employees.

Job Duties:
• Answer incoming customer inquiries
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
• Other duties as requested
