Community Involvement

At Diamond Delivery, our commitment to community involvement goes beyond providing exceptional transportation services; we strive to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. Through various initiatives, partnerships, and volunteer efforts, we aim to support local organizations, promote sustainability, and foster a spirit of collaboration.

Surrey Eagles Sponsorship 2024

Diamond Delivery is proud to continue our tradition of community support by sponsoring the Surrey Eagles for the 2024/25 season. As a local company, we believe in giving back to the organizations that inspire unity and passion in our community. The Surrey Eagles embody teamwork, dedication, and perseverance—values we share at Diamond Delivery. We look forward to an exciting season of hockey and invite everyone to join us in cheering on the Eagles!

North Shore Zone Festival 2024

Theatre BC has served BC communities in association with community theatres across the province since 1932. Their aim is to promote and encourage the development of community theatre by providing participation, education and sharing the joy of diverse theatre experiences. On May 8th, the White Rock Players Club participated in the yearly theatre competition: North Shore Zone Festival. Assisted by the generosity of our sponsor Diamond Delivery and the skilled and professional workmanship of their driver, we loaded up our set, props and costumes and took our show “Proof“ by David Auburn on the road to the festival venue: Presentation House Theatre in North Vancouver. WRPC is grateful that there are organizations that recognize the importance of community engagement. We had an inspiring evening of theatre!

White Rock Players Club

White Rock Players Club production of Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice – adapted from the most famous of all the Jane Austen novels directed by one of Diamond Delivery’s own, Alaina Holland! Alaina’s colleagues in Surrey came out to support her and this wonderful Community Theatre. White Rock Player’s Club is a non profit organization, that is celebrating 80 amazing years bringing live theatre to the community!

Congratulations Alaina, you directed a fantastic show!

Team Fenton

Diamond Delivery is delighted to sponsor TEAM FENTON, a group of talented and
dedicated young curlers who compete in the Under-21 Division in British Columbia.
We have watched and cheered their accomplishments throughout a myriad of tournaments,
bonspiels and qualifiers this season culminating in the Provincial Championships held
in Salmon Arm this past weekend where Team Fenton went 6-0 in round robin play.
They carried this momentum into the Championship game where they were victorious in
winning this prestigious annual event. We were equally proud to see skip Adam Fenton
as a recipient of the Sportmanship Award.

Diamond Delivery will be supporting Team Fenton as they make their next stop in
Fort McMurray competing in the U-21 Canadian Nationals in March.

Four Walls Make a Home!

Meet the Walls, who have grown their family through adoption.
This remarkable family recognized a need to celebrate and support the adoption community, especially though the difficult days of social distancing.
To do this, they started Four Walls Make a Home, a charitable organization filling boxes for new adoptive families in British Columbia to make them feel loved, celebrated, supported and not alone during this huge transition in their adoption journey.
Through the contributions of local businesses and individuals on Vancouver Island, they are warming hearts across the province, and Diamond Delivery & First Canadian Messenger are with them, delivering these packages to homes across our delivery network.

A Christmas Miracle

Back in December, the Foundation for the Children of Haiti were on a mission to send Christmas presents to the children at Hope Home in Haiti. Normally the team travels an works at the home twice a year and carries the presents in their luggage. Covid restricted travel in 2020. but the team was undeterred.
Thank you to the incredible support of Diamond Delivery and Rick’s Heart Foundation for making sure the packages arrived just in time to meet an Air Transat flight. After numerous connections, it was cleared from customs just moments before the party was to begin.

The children were already for their party and were absolutely overjoyed to see the unexpected truck arrive with their presents!
The smiles say it all. I am sure the noise was heard all over the neighbourhood.

The smiles and laughter and joy were felt here in Victoria as well. All of us who were involved were adding our joyful praise along with the children in Haiti.

Miracles do occur- and Christmas ones are incredibly special.

Blessings,

Variety’s Boat for Hope

Diamond Delivery is proud to once again support our community, this time being the BBQ sponsor at the Variety’s 20th Boat for Hope of June 8th, 2019 at The Royal Vancouver Yacht in False Creek.
The Variety Boat for Hope is a fun-filled day on the water, where children live out their best pirate adventure.
Kids of all ages hunt for treasure; fill their loot bags; and experience life as it is meant to be fun and exciting!
The day is capped-off with a hearty barbecue, children’s activities and live entertainment.
The Variety Boat for Hope is about more than just a day in the sun.
Through the generous support of local skippers, the business community, and heart-filled volunteers, funds are raised for the two months leading up to the event.

Toque Tuesday

Toque Tuesday is a campaign initiated by the charity organization Raising The Roof to help the homeless.
“This time of the year, potentially, the coldest and wettest and a tough time of the year,
(it’s about) what those people are going through on the streets right now,” Baillie said during last year’s tourney.
“If one day a year, we can make homelessness at the front of our thoughts, that’s what this is all about,” Baillie added.
Toque Tuesday takes place annually on the first Tuesday in February.
